We are so proud and excited to have successfully released our first wines… years went into the making of the 2018 RRV Walker Vine Hill Syrah and we are delighted to announce it is sold out!
Accompanying it was the 2019 Marsanne-Roussanne from Alder Springs of Mendocino. The MR blend was aged in 75% stainless, and 25% oak for soft rounded mouthfeel and added complexity. Alas, this wine is also sold out!
Both wines were sealed with 2” natural corks and dressed with beautiful colored wax, hand applied by our family.
Marginally bolder in style, the 2019 Walker Vine Hill Syrah was bottled in July ‘21 after 21 months of barrel aging. It awaits it’s release in 2022.
With heavy hearts, we did not make a 2020 Villein vintage because of smoke tainted grapes from the Northern California wildfires.
But for 2021, with unbridled passion to our craft, we came roaring back. Doubling our inaugural production, we made our 2021 Walker Vine Hill Syrah and the 2021 Alder Springs Marsanne - Roussanne again and a new cool climate mountainside Pinot Noir, also from Alder Springs.
For the summer ‘24, we released our new 2022 Walker Vine Hill Pinot Noir, a delightful classic Russian River Valley wine laden with red cherry and strawberry flavors with bright complementary acid accentuating the finish.

Cork Removal Tip
🚫 Trying to cut around the wax seal to expose the cork can be difficult.
✅ Instead, with a firm grip, just pull the cork right through the wax seal.
